Christmas 2022

Christmas 2022 was all about keeping things neutral, woodsy, and simple. Over the years, I’ve found myself leaning more toward earthy colours and natural textures when it comes to decorating for the holidays, and this year was no different.

We focused on browns, soft neutrals, and organic materials. Creating a cozy, understated look that still felt festive and warm. Think woven textures, wooden accents and natural greenery, all coming together to give that timeless, grounded feel I love.

One tradition we’ve held onto since moving into our home in the winter of 2017 is bringing in a real Christmas tree. There’s something so special about the smell of fresh pine filling the house. It instantly makes the season feel more magical and meaningful.

The end result was a Christmas look that felt relaxed, organic, and true to our style. Nothing over the top, just the simple, woodsy touches that make our home feel like us during the holidays.
