With a background in Visual Merchandising and a keen eye for detail, I’ve always been passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces. My love for interiors stemmed from my childhood — creating living arrangements out of the calf stalls in the barn, too constantly decorating my bedroom with a new theme in mind; my poor Mom could hardly keep up!

Growing up on a dairy farm, I dreamed of city life — until motherhood shifted my perspective. I realized I wanted my children to experience the same sense of freedom, connection, and simplicity that shaped my own childhood. Growing up in a rural community, playing in the dirt, exploring nature, and embracing the outdoors. That’s when we decided to leave our city life behind and move to my husband’s hometown and plant roots.

This blog started back in 2014 as a creative outlet during the thick of motherhood as a stay-at-home mom. It has grown into a place where I share my love for creating thoughtful interiors, while building connections with others whom share the same passion. Rearranging our home until it feels just right seems to be the norm around here!
