CHRISTMAS AT HOME 2023
Christmas 2023 brought a new twist for us. We went with a faux tree, standing tall at about 9 feet and piled on the tinsel. Honestly, the more the merrier! It gave the tree such a whimsical, sparkling feel and instantly became the centrepiece of our holiday decor.
This year’s colour palette leaned into warm hues: think mustard yellow and rich browns, with subtle touches of red sprinkled throughout. The look felt rustic and inviting, with little details like bows tied here and there to soften the tree and carry that charm through the house.
We dabbled with plaid patterns in our wrapping paper and on the table setting which tied everything together in a classic, cozy way. And of course, I leaned into romantic candlelight this season. Nothing makes the holidays feel more magical than the glow of flickering candles scattered throughout the home.
Accents of gold and natural elements added just the right amount of shine while still keeping everything grounded in that organic, timeless style I love. The end result was a Christmas look that felt warm, rustic and full of heart — a perfect reflection of the season in our home.
